Auctions: Cherished Number Plates
The Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) hold regular auctions of Cherished Number Plates and these are in the form of online timed auctions and are usually held every other month.
Motor Marks Cherished Numbers and Personalised Registration Plates can bid at all these auctions and any independent Cherished Number Plate Auctions that take place.
If you would like Motor Marks to act as your representative in any of these auctions and bid for you on any cherished number plates please contact us by telephone, email or either by using the form on our contact page and we will be more than happy to do this. You will need to specify your maximum bid for each of the cherished number plates you ask us to bid on.
If Motor Marks are successful in purchasing your chosen registration number we charge a fee of £200 plus VAT for our services. If however we are unsuccessful with your bid we make no charge.
When placing a bid on a particular Lot. No. there will be a Buyer's Premium (currently this is 8%), VAT at 20% and a DVLA assignment fee of £80.00 to pay on top of your bid price. If your bid is successful, payment is required, in full, by Banker's Draft within 5 days.
