You can apply for the renewal up to 28 days before the expiry date. The renewal process is straightforward and can be done either by post or online.
Consequences of Missing the Expiry Date Failure to renew your V778 Retention Document or V750 Certificate of Entitlement on or before the expiry date will result in the permanent loss of your right to use the cherished number plate.
